Hands on Deck, a boating & woodworking education 401c non profit was looking to increase class registration and donations, and better communicate their mission with a website redesign. With so many classes and events to promote, I proposed Squarespace Scheduling for paid classes, creating an events page, and use of the blog and tags to auto-populate content on relevant site pages. With beautiful imagery available to tell their story, they also needed someone to parse through the assets, rename, resize, and organize for use on-site and for the future.

project responsibilities included:

  • Brand and tech stack research

  • Strategy

  • Implement Squarespace Scheduling, Givelively for donations

  • Custom design - site, page, blog

  • Navigation structure

  • Copywriting, page naming & headlines

  • SEO
